What we are
We build the agent, not the robot.
FoodLink System is based in Skudai, Johor, Malaysia. We build Pip, an AI agent that sees, listens, decides and acts. Pip runs on our FL1 robot, and on FL2, a second body available to order now.
Most people have met a chatbot. A chatbot answers. An agent acts: it notices someone, chooses the next step, and uses the tools it is connected to. A POS, a campaign screen, a review QR code, a handover to staff.
Pip works in rooms, not on screens. Today that means a restaurant, a hair salon and a coffee shop. The same agent can be set up for supermarkets, airports, safety and inspection rounds, and security patrols.
Our story
Two engineers who couldn't stop thinking about a problem.
FoodLink System Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in May 2024 by two co-founders who had spent months talking to restaurant owners across Johor and Kuala Lumpur. Lee Yee Sien and Nelsen Edbert Winata are both Directors, and both robotics software engineers.
The same pattern kept coming up. Owners who could not find enough staff. Owners losing money on dessert and drink upsells that never got offered. Owners paying for marketing campaigns whose results they could not measure. Different problems on paper, but all pointing back to the same thing: not enough capacity on the restaurant floor to do the work that actually grows the business.
We started with a robot that promoted merchandise and asked for Google reviews. It drew attention. But customers ignored fixed messages. What made people stay was asking a question and getting a useful answer. So we built Pip: an agent that connects what it sees and hears to the tools it can use.

Our team
A small engineering team behind Pip and FL1.
Our team is based in Malaysia and Singapore. Software, AI, and deployment engineering are all in house. When something goes wrong at a customer site, the engineer on the phone is the one who knows the stack inside out.
We're operators first. The people calling the shots on the FL1 are the same ones deploying and supporting it with you.
Our approach
No dealers. No middlemen. Just honest engineering.
Most robotics companies sell through distributors. That means dealer markups on hardware, delays on support, and a chain of people between the customer and the engineer who can actually fix the problem.
We sell direct. Pricing is quoted for your restaurant specifically, not padded to cover three layers of commission. Support goes straight to our engineers. If a robot needs help on a Saturday evening, the right person picks up the phone.
We do not oversell. If a site assessment shows the FL1 will not pay for itself in your restaurant, we tell you. A robot that isn't profitable for the operator isn't profitable for us either, over time.
