Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Delivery & Deployment

There will be a lead time of approximately 1 month from the date of order confirmation before delivery, subject to product availability. Deployment will take approximately 1 to 3 working days, during which FoodLink will install, configure, and test the robot. The client is responsible for ensuring that the deployment site is ready and accessible during this period.

2. Training

Upon successful deployment, FoodLink will provide on-site training to designated staff, covering robot operation, basic troubleshooting, and standard maintenance. Additional or extended training can be provided at an extra cost.

3. Software Support

Remote software support is included throughout the lease period at no additional cost. Support requests (e.g., layout changes, table number updates, configuration adjustments, and software-related issues) will be attended to within one (1) working day, and are typically resolved within the same day. Remote support may be provided via video call, remote access, or online configuration updates.

4. Hardware Support

For minor hardware issues, FoodLink will provide remote assistance and troubleshooting guidance within one (1) working day. For major hardware issues requiring physical inspection, disassembly, or internal repairs, FoodLink will arrange for on-site support. Due to logistics and travel arrangements, on-site intervention may take approximately five (5) to ten (10) working days.

5. Trial Period & Lease Commitment

Following the delivery date, the client is entitled to a 1-month trial period to evaluate the robot and its features. At the end of the trial period, the client may decide whether to proceed with a 1-year lease package. There is no obligation to continue beyond the trial period. Full support and maintenance is provided during the trial and throughout the subsequent lease period.

6. Advertising & Content Management

The FL1 includes built-in advertising and promotional display functionality. During the initial deployment phase, FoodLink will assist with updating advertising content remotely. Once a self-service content management feature is released, clients will be able to update content independently. FoodLink is not responsible for the creation of marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Billing Terms & Deposit

To confirm the order, the client is required to pay a deposit equivalent to 1 month's lease fee. The deposit must be received before order confirmation and commencement of delivery. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. The lease deposit shall be offset against the first month's lease invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. The lease deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Robot Ownership & Removal

The FL1 robot remains the property of FoodLink System Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. at all times. Failure to settle invoices issued during the active lease period may result in suspension of services and/or retrieval of the robot.

9. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing a clean, unobstructed operating environment and a standard 240V power outlet for robot charging. Any physical damage caused by accidents, power surges, water exposure, misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications is not covered under the lease warranty.

10. Limitation of Liability

FoodLink System Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the FL1 system, including but not limited to loss of revenue during scheduled maintenance windows.
